This notice explains how Net Cricket (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information. It is split into two parts: the mobile app and the website. Your choices are covered under UK/EU GDPR.

Part A — Net Cricket mobile app

The following applies when you use the Net Cricket app on your phone or tablet.

A1. Local data only

Net Cricket is an app for scoring cricket net sessions. Most data you create (players, sessions, scores, wagon wheels) is stored only on your device. We do not collect or sync this content to our servers.

A2. Data stored on your device

• Session data – players, teams, scores, ball-by-ball history, and reports you generate.
• Preferences – theme, settings, and in-app purchase status (e.g. remove ads).
• Onboarding flags – to show or hide tips (stored locally only).

This data remains on your device. To delete it, use the app’s settings to clear data or uninstall the app.

A3. Advertising

The app may show ads (banner and interstitial) via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to deliver and measure ads. You can purchase an in-app “Remove ads” option to disable ads. For details, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

A4. In-app purchases

Purchases (e.g. Remove ads) are processed by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We receive only confirmation of the purchase, not payment details. Purchase status is stored locally on your device.

Part B — Net Cricket website

The following applies when you visit this website (netcricket.co.uk or related domains).

B1. Feedback form

Our website provides app information, support links, and a feedback form. If you submit feedback, we receive your message and any contact details you provide (e.g. email). We may retain these for support and improvement.

B2. Cookies

Our website may use essential cookies for security (e.g. form protection) and temporary messages. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on the website. You can control or delete cookies via your browser settings.

General (app and website)

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may use trusted processors (e.g. hosting, email, AdMob) who process data only on our instructions.

Retention

App data on your device is kept until you delete it or uninstall. Feedback and support records from the website are retained for a reasonable period for troubleshooting and compliance.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable. Contact us at support@netcricket.co.uk. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority (e.g. ICO in the UK).

Children

The app and website are not directed at children under 13 (or local minimum). If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us to remove it.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change. Significant changes will be reflected in the app store listing or communicated where appropriate.
