This notice explains how Net Cricket (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your information when you use Net Cricket (the “App” and related websites). It also covers our use of cookies and your choices under UK/EU GDPR.
1. Data we collect
- Account data – username and password.
- Usage data – app actions, device/browser info, approximate location derived from IP.
- Content you provide – field settings, match notes, uploaded screenshots.
- Support/feedback – messages and contact details you submit.
2. Why we use it (legal bases)
- Provide the service – perform our contract with you.
- Improve & secure – legitimate interests (quality, fraud/security).
- Communicate – service emails are necessary; marketing only with your consent.
- Legal – comply with law or enforce terms.
3. Sharing
We may use trusted processors (hosting, email, analytics). They only process data on our instructions. We don’t sell your personal data.
4. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Support/feedback records and logs are retained for a reasonable period for troubleshooting and compliance.
5. International transfers
Where data is processed outside the UK/EU, we rely on approved safeguards (e.g., SCCs).
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable. Contact us at support@netcricket.co.uk. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority (e.g., ICO in the UK).
7. Cookies
We currently use essential cookies only — for sign-in, security, and one-time messages. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at this time. If we introduce optional cookies in the future, we’ll request consent first and update this page.

- Essential cookies are required for the site to function (sign-in and security) and do not require consent.
- We do not currently use optional analytics cookies.

9. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or local minimum). If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us to remove it.
10. Changes
We’ll update this page when our practices change. Significant changes will be notified in-app or by email where appropriate.
